Chicken Salad
serves - 2-3
This salad is simple with flavours of indian masala & healthy.
Ingredients :
For the Grilling
- Boneless Chicken breast(wash &cut small) - 400gm
- Tandoori chicken masala - 2 teaspoon
- Yoghurt (Curd) -1 table spoon
- lemon few drops
- onion (cut into 1 inch pieces) -1
- capsicum (cut into 1 inch pieces)- 1
- Salt as needed (if tandoori masala don't have the salt)
- olive oil for brushing
Salad
- Cucumber cut small -1cup
- Avocado diced - 1
- Small Cherry tomatoes Diced - 100gm
- Coriander leaves cut small few
- Butterhead lettuce leaves (Cleaned & drained) - one bunch
Salad Dressing
- ExtraVirgin Olive oil - 1table spoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Rock salt - as needed
- Pepper freshly grounded - 1 teaspoon
Method
- Marinate the chicken with tandoori masala,Yoghurt & lemon juice.Keep it in the fridge for 2- 3hrs.
- Brush the olive oil all over the marinated chicken & grill it for about 10-15minutes.Keep aside.
- Marinate the capsicum & Onion with tandoori masala & few drops of lemon for about 15-30minutes.Then brush with olive oil & grill it for about 5minutes.
- Mix all the salad dressing ingredients in one bowl.Keep aside
- In one big Bowl Put all the cut Tomato,Avocado,cucumber,coriander, Grilled vegetables & Chicken.Then add in the salad dresser Mix level.Level it & keep it in the fridge for about 1hr. to make all the flavours go inside the vegatables.
- Add the Butterhead lettuce leaves & Serve.
Variation :
If You don't want chicken,You can replace it with Panner.You can make wrap also using the above salad.
