Chicken Salad

serves - 2-3

This salad is simple with flavours of indian masala & healthy.

Ingredients :

For the Grilling

  1. Boneless Chicken breast(wash &cut small) - 400gm
  2. Tandoori chicken masala - 2 teaspoon
  3. Yoghurt (Curd) -1 table spoon
  4. lemon few drops
  5. onion (cut into 1 inch pieces) -1 
  6. capsicum (cut into 1 inch pieces)- 1
  7. Salt as needed (if tandoori masala don't have the salt)
  8. olive oil for brushing

Salad

  1. Cucumber cut small -1cup
  2. Avocado diced  - 1
  3. Small Cherry tomatoes Diced - 100gm
  4. Coriander leaves cut small few
  5. Butterhead lettuce leaves (Cleaned & drained) - one bunch

Salad Dressing

  1. ExtraVirgin Olive oil - 1table spoon
  2. Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  3. Rock salt - as needed
  4. Pepper freshly grounded - 1 teaspoon

Method 


  1. Marinate the chicken with tandoori masala,Yoghurt & lemon juice.Keep it in the fridge for 2- 3hrs.
  2. Brush the olive oil all over the marinated chicken & grill it for about 10-15minutes.Keep aside.
  3. Marinate the capsicum & Onion with tandoori masala & few drops of lemon for about 15-30minutes.Then brush with olive oil & grill it for about 5minutes.
  4. Mix all the salad dressing ingredients in one bowl.Keep aside
  5. In one big Bowl Put all the cut Tomato,Avocado,cucumber,coriander, Grilled vegetables & Chicken.Then add in the salad dresser Mix level.Level it & keep it in the fridge for about 1hr. to make all the flavours go inside the vegatables.
  6. Add the Butterhead lettuce leaves & Serve.

Variation :

If You don't want chicken,You can replace it with Panner.You can make wrap also using the above salad.
