Soup Varieties

Cream Of Mushroom Soup:

This Soup is taste delicious and very simple to make.

Ingredients:


  • Fresh Mushrooms - 250g
  • Onion, Chopped - 2 table spoons
  • Garlic Cloves, Minced - 2
  • Vegetable stock - 2 cups
  • Flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Butter - 1 Tablespoon
  • Evaporated Milk/Light Cream - 
  • Rock salt to taste
  • Freshly Grounded Pepper to taste
  • Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon

Method: 


  1. Cut the mushroom into slices.
  2. Melt butter in a large frying pan. Add in onions, garlics and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms are soft.
  3. Blend in 1 tablespoon of flour and add salt.
  4. Add in the vegetable stock and heat until slightly thickened while stirring frequently.
  5. Stir cream with 1 tablespoon of flour,milk and seasonings. Add in cream to soup while stirring frequently.
