Ingredients :
- Paneer grated - 200gm
- Potato - 400gm
- Onion - 1 chopped
- Ginger - 1/2 inch chopped small
- Garlic - 2 clove chopped small
- Green chillies - 2 chopped
- Garam masala - 1/4teaspoon
- Chilli powder -1/4 teaspoon
- Cumin (jeera) powder -1/4 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Salt as needed
- Bread crumbs - 2 cups
- Flour - 1 cup
- Oil - 500ml
Method :
- Boil the potatoes with little bit salt & pinch of turmeric.Peel the skin & Mash it.
- Heat a heavy bottomed pan with one tablespoon of oil,fry the chopped onions,garlic,ginger & green chillies for one minute.
- Then add the chilli powder,cumin powder,turmeric powder & Garam masala.Fry for few seconds
- Add the mashed potato,grated paneer & salt.Saute it for one minute.Switch off the fire.Let it cool down.
- Take a bowl,Mix the flour with water & make paste.
- Put the bread crumbs in a plate.
- Heat the oil in the frying pan.
- Make a small elongated ball of the paneer mixture,dip in the flour paste & toast both side in the bread crumbs.Fry the balls until golden in the hot oil.
- Serve with ketchup & mint chutney.
Tips:you can make it in round shapes & use it as the Veg.patties for the Burger.
